Implants, Veneer, Crowns & Gum Treatment

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Steve, 30 from Ainsdale in Southport

To remove the pink acrylic that was replacing some missing gum, gum treatment was performed to match the gum level of the left front tooth to the right. A bridge was being used to replace a missing front tooth, this was replaced with an implant and some veneers and crowns were then placed.

“I’ve had root canal treatment but now my tooth has gone dark”

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

“I’ve had a Root Canal Treatment and now my tooth’s changed colour and looks dark compared to the rest, is there anything you can do?”

Of course! We can do whats called internal bleaching – which is exactly what it sounds like – we put the bleach inside the tooth rather than normal whitening on the outside surface. Plus there’s always veneers and crowns that can make things look more like you want them to.

“I’ve got some missing teeth, can you do anything for me?”

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

“Over the years I’ve got had to lose some teeth. Now I’ve got missing teeth, i want to improve how things look and be able to eat foods I currently avoid. Is there anything you can do for me?”

Yes! With implants, bridges and even dentures there’s always something we can do. Replacing missing teeth is something we do everyday for many patients. We need to have a thorough consultation with you so we can determine exactly what the right solution is for you personally. One size doesn’t fit all! But all our solutions combine making things look good with functionally getting things right.

“How long does it take to place an implant?”

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

“I’m having an implant to replace a missing front tooth. How long does it take to place an implant?”

It’s probably far quicker than you’d imagine! Things can change from person to person and exactly what’s being done, but to simply place an implant only takes a few minutes!

“I would like to thank you so very much for giving me the confidence to go ahead with the implants and veneers. I am delighted with the results – my teeth look fantastic!

My particular thanks for being so understanding, as I am sure I am one of your most nervous and enquiring patients (with all the questions!)

Please pass on my thanks to your lovely team who were all so kind and supportive.”

thank you Sorry this “thank you” card is late, but tried to find a card which was appropriate, so I made one!

I have received the best attention that anyone would only dream of, it has been over 2 years since my first consultation and now it is all over, I can only say I will miss you all, not having to come into the surgery quite as often, hopefully!!!

Thank you for all your care and attention and consideration you have given me and hope all your efforts and future plans will be successful – you deserve it.

 Many Thanks

”Thank You for giving me my teeth and smile back!

You are all ‘Simply the Best’!”

“Should I sleep in my Invisible braces?”

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

“I have recently started my invisalign treatment, how many hours per day do I have to wear them?”

Each aligner should be worn at all times day and night, they should only be removed when eating and drinking.

This way you’ll have your straight teeth in next to no time at all!!
